Get your super-light Stellar touring kayak with an elegant wood design! The veneer enhances the deck and gives your technical kayak a timeless look. The grain turns your kayak into a very personalised piece.
You can order the touring kayak of your choice with a wooden design in a multisport layup (carbon Kevlar), with Kevlar keel strips (except for S18R + ST21) in combination with a grey deck strip, grey seat and coaming and with a grey lower hull. The keel strip is grey.
The deck is protected with transparent gelcoat, which makes it completely maintenance-free. As with the other laminated kayaks, it requires no special care. The weight is around 2000 grams more than the usual model weight for multisport layups.

Stellar Lightweight specialises in the construction of lightweight kayaks. The "Multisport" layup variant chosen here was specially developed for touring and river trips to offer extra robustness. The solo kayaks weigh only 17 to 19 kg, the tandem kayaks only 25 kg.
In the same factory where Stellar kayaks are built, Wintech rowing boats are also manufactured. This expertise under one roof led to an add-on: the Wintech crew produced the rowing boats for the film "The Boys In The Boat" (a 2023 epic about a rowing team led by George Clooney) based on a historical design. Classic woodworking is used here. This gave rise to the idea of also offering this expertise in the construction of touring kayaks. The technical, lightweight and robust characteristics of the kayaks are retained and enhanced by the timeless, sporty look of the fine wood.
