The spraydeck combines the advantages of a nylon waist and neoprene deck. The neoprene deck with adhesive layer on the inside increases the waterproofness around the cockpit. The neoprene also prevents water from collecting on the deck. The nylon waist allows ventilation and if necessary it can be tightened with an elasticated cord. Adjustable braces prevent the chimney from rolling down.
The elasticated cords can be used to attach a map, compass or other necessities.
